On 2 July 2026, RINNEN Poland’s facility in Grabówka hosted an emergency response exercise involving the State Fire Service and the Specialist Chemical and Ecological Rescue Group. The purpose of the exercise was to strengthen cooperation between the emergency services and the company while practically verifying the procedures applied during incidents involving hazardous substances.
The exercise scenario involved the rescue of an unconscious employee from inside a tank container following a simulated failure during the preparation of the tank for cleaning. Firefighters conducted rescue operations under simulated chemical and explosion hazard conditions, using specialised equipment and rescue procedures designed for confined-space operations.
The exercise also provided an opportunity for firefighters to become familiar with the facility’s infrastructure, the nature of its operational processes, and the organisation of emergency response activities at RINNEN Polska. Initiatives of this kind strengthen our safety culture and enhance our preparedness to respond effectively in emergency situations.
